Public Hearing on Citywide Wifi
If you have a contribution you'd like to make to the city's discussions on their wireless project, you might like to be aware that a public meeting will be held at City Hall tomorrow (Tuesday July 11th) at 7pm. Free parking will be available at the Government Centre Ramp, or there are plenty of buses that stop in the vicinity. Comments can be sent in advance to the Grand Rapids City Clerk.

Under The Hood
Hopefully most of you won't notice, but Grand Rapids WiFi now has a new engine under the hood. Previously built using PHP, it's now all powered by Ruby on Rails, which should make the site a little faster, and much easier for me to make improvements to. A few links may have changed, but I've tried to make sure they redirect automatically. As ever, if you think you've found a bug, email wifi@grwifi.net and we'll take a look.
